On January 30-31, 2024, the FAB Project convened a significant Steering Committee Meeting at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The meeting was graced by the honorable presence of the acting rector, Associate Professor TS. ChM. Dr. Mohammad Isa Mohamadin.

The steering committee meeting brought together key representatives from various institutions involved in the project. The meeting was attended by a total of 45 participants (20 from Cambodia), including the General Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, universities from Cambodia, and universities from countries in Asia such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and universities from Europe such as Portugal, Cyprus, and Greece.

This steering committee meeting served as a vital step in solidifying the project’s direction, reviewing and discussing the progress of project implementation, key issues to be addressed, and future directions. The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union provided crucial support for this gathering, which served as a strategic platform for the FAB project’s advancement.
